Summary
: Provide labor across all areas of production and maintenance, facilitating the production process as well as the general upkeep and maintenance of the shop.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Material & General Handling: receipt and storage, handling and movement throughout the facility, preparation for various production processes, loading and removal of parts from machinery, saw operations, lubricating and painting, cleaning and deburring of parts, grinding and polishing, sandblasting, various testing operations, use of measurement tools, scrap handling, building assemblies from parts / components, other as assigned
- Shop & Facility: cleaning and organization, machinery maintenance, assistance with internal improvement projects, building of new tools and capabilities, other as assigned
- Tools & Machinery: forklift, side-loader, grinding & polishing tools, sandblasting equipment, saw(s) and cutting equipment, other as identified

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalency.
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software.
