Job Summary:
AIS is looking for a Web Content Creator to work in Oak Ridge, is a unique opportunity to explore opportunities to support other projects with the same requirements.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
The specialist will be responsible for web content updates and able to support creative content for presentations, brochures and other collateral material.
The current website is structured using Drupal Content Management System.
The Specialist would assume the role of the content editor for the website.
The actual modules and views are designed and controlled by Drupal engineers within the Enterprise.
The Specialist will be responsible to develop a plan and organize meetings with stakeholders to identify and prioritize content updates and implement them.
A significant task will be working with the Enterprise scrum request procedure to modify content modules and views.
The project strives to maintain a consistent graphic standard for all communications (web, presentations, brochures, posters).
The Creative Specialist would be called upon to make suggestions for power point and poster templates that retain the graphic themes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years experience with graphic arts, web design, content editing, and collateral material development in an earth science theme
A degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills
Natural problem solver, technical challenger and process improver
Detail oriented
Can-do, positive attitude
Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and graphic editing packages
Conducts day to day activities with a focus on safety and culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced web design skills with Drupal or other packages
Science illustration experience
Editing experience
