What you get to do:

• Assist with the fabrication, installation/strike and maintenance/repair of park signage and graphics
• Handle, install/strike and maintain graphic banners and posters
• Assist with layout/preparation, painting and maintenance of murals and large graphics
• Assist with the material inventory process
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and vehicles
• Perform other duties as requested

What it takes to succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years job related experience
• Valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
• Experience with sign layout and vinyl generation software and equipment
• Experience with vector-based software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Basic construction ability
• Experience with a variety of paint mediums, including latex and acrylic
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to climb a ladder
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts

What else is important:

• An experienced designer and experience with layout, color specification, material routing, hand-lettering, Adobe, Gerber Omega, and large format printers is preferred
• Experience in mixing and applying latex paint
