Ready to direct people, projects, and platforms in a hands-on IT leadership role? Recourse Communications Inc. (RCI) is proud to partner with the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (SWA) to help them hire an Enterprise Systems Manager. This leadership role oversees enterprise applications, databases, and a small team of analysts and developers while also hands-on with systems administration and project delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage a team of 4 (Programmer Analysts, Business Systems Analyst, BI Analyst)
• Direct enterprise systems design, development, implementation, and support
• Oversee in-house and vendor-supported applications running on Windows/Linux
• Provide programming and database administration expertise (VB.NET, C#.NET, Java, BI tools, ERP, SQL, Unix/Linux)
• Evaluate, select, and implement enterprise applications and ERP systems
• Set and enforce project management standards, documentation, and best practices
• Collaborate across IT and business units to deliver high-performing solutions
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and system lifecycle planning

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years managing people
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong background in programming, database administration, and enterprise applications
• ERP and business intelligence/reporting experience
• Unix/Linux administration experience (2+ years desirable)
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Valid Florida Driver’s License required
• Preferred certifications: PMP, Microsoft, ITIL, or other relevant IT credentials
