Family-owned and operated, award-winning Brewpub looking for a highly qualified Head Chef to lead our kitchen team as we continue year over year growth and prepare for future expansions. Minimum 4 years Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef experience * High school diploma; College degree or formal culinary education preferred, but equivalent experience considered * Strong understanding of kitchen operations and admin * Reliable and ability to focus and multi-task with attention detail-oriented * Able to stand for long shifts * Positive, team-player attitude, drive, and integrity * Quality control, ensures adherence of standards on all food preparation * Clean and organized * ServSafe Certified * Positive attitude, drive, and integrity * Ability to focus and multi-task with attention to detail under pressure * Ensure stations are set up for menu execution * Handles, stores and rotates products * Adheres to set standards in cooking techniques and portioning * Ensures food quality and timeliness * Practices correct food handling, product storage and rotation procedures * Complies with all sanitation and safety regulations and standards * Operational knowledge of kitchen equipment * Excellent knife skills * Strong communication skillsHead Chef • Reno, NV
