Sourcing Manager-Software Category Management

The Sourcing Software Category Manager has responsibility to execute transactions between company business units and vendors for acquisition of software licensing and related supportand professional services.This resource will manage all aspects of negotiating contract terms and pricing, as well as gather spend and data analysis, ensure process and policy compliance, evaluate market research, and facilitate ongoing support.Responsibilities Include :

Has a significant Technology and Software subject matter knowledge and regularly leverages industry experts, associations, peers and stakeholders to identify and benchmark best practices.

Has specific Software and Services experience including cloud computing concepts.

Familiarity with complex licensing models

Experience in creating and negotiating service level agreements

Familiarity with software asset management best practices and tools

Experience planning and leading negotiations.

Accountable to contribute to department costs savings goals, process efficiencies, and to drive timeliness in contract completion

Qualifications·         4-6 years of procurement experience within IT and business services;·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or related field·         Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing and / or category management associated with Indirect Categories such as Information Technology (IT) and Business / Professional Services·         Strong Project Management and Strategic Sourcing skills*       Strong experience in working with contracts·         Quantitative and Data Analytics Skills·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence others and drive results in highly matrix environment, communicate within different levels of organizations including C-suite executives·         Demonstrated knowledge of technology markets, trends, pricing, suppliers and sourcing If you wish to find out more about this opportunity directly, you can reach our National Recruiting Manager Corrina Webber at 470-295-5802 or email her at corrinaw@tebww.com.
