Accounts Payable Processor needed in the Sacramento area for a Property Management industry organization as an Accounts Payable professional. This role is pivotal in supporting our operations by handling AP processing and tenant utility billing. Responsibilities:
Process approximately 2500 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Utilize Yardi Voyager for accounting tasks and maintain GL accounts.
Handle customer and tenant utility billing efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues as they arise.
Communicate effectively with customer and vendor accounting departments.
Provide clerical and administrative support in the department as needed.
Reconcile processed/paid transactions and verify payable amounts.
Import and export invoice data to and from Yardi, ensuring data accuracy.
Ensure compliance with federal ID numbers, insurance, and workers' compensation requirements.
Prepare final balancing and review for check run submissions to third-party vendors.
Code payables and check requests accurately.
Resolve online payment discrepancies and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets for utility companies.
Requirements:
Mathematical and analytical acumen, understanding of accounting principles.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining complex financial records.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently or within a team.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic Excel skills.
Experience with Yardi Voyager and Avid is preferred.
Fast and accurate data entry skills
Preferences:
AA/AS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) is desired but not required.
2+ years of experience in the Real Estate or Property Management industry is desirable.
Ability to think critically, innovate, and analyze data effectively.
10-Key by touch
Pay Range: $25-28/hr
Must be able to provide a minimum of two supervisory references and proper documentation to verify eligibility to work in the USA. Other compliance factors may be involved, depending on position including COVID Vaccination/Boosters, clear a thorough drug screening and criminal background check.
