Pay Range: $60.00 to $64.00 Per Hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Software Development Engineer to join our Content Platform team, focusing on first-level support and development for incoming production software application issues related to merchandising applications. This role is pivotal in developing monitoring solutions, solving technical challenges, and enhancing our current software systems. The ideal candidate will work alongside development teams on various Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, making a direct impact on our customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement solutions for internally developed code, primarily JAVA.
- Perform SQL queries, update, track, and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of support processes as well as system documentation.
- Develop monitoring solutions to gather metrics on our features.
- Work closely with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects to update and enhance software systems.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in software development using Java.
- Competence with AWS services and technologies.
- Strong experience with SQL for database management and queries.
Industry Experience:
- Ideal candidates should hold a Computer Science or equivalent technical degree along with 2-5 years of relevant SDE experience.
