Job description
  • This position requires some on-site in Ann Arbor, MI but is mostly a remote position.* *Top Skills' Details * 1. Experience working as a Windows Systems Engineer in an enterprise size environment preferred 2. Experience with Cloud technologies 3. Experience with PowerShell scripting *Description : * Our client is looking for a consultant to assist with their general Windows Environment. This person will be supporting their application servers as well as other projects as they arise. The candidate should be sr level, have excellent Windows skillset, and able to handle small to large projects. Ideally looking for candidates who have come from enterprise sized environments as well. This role is budgeted for one year, but there are quite a few upcoming initiatives so there is a high likelihood that they would extend this person beyond one year. *Required Qualifications* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience • 7+ years of experience in managing and supporting large environment with Windows Enterprise Servers in a complex, high availability, enterprise environment • Expert level knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019) • Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with performance tuning and analysis on Intel / AMD based platforms • Experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting high performance Windows systems • Experience managing Server Hardware Management software • Experience in scripting with PowerShell or PowerCLI About TEKsystems : We're partners in transformation.
