Skilled Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:Wound and Skin CareMedication Management and Documentation to include communication with pharmacistsOversee the services of Direct Care Staff and Certified Nursing AssistantsAdministering tube feedingNursing Care to include ADLs, assessments, care and vital signsProvide transportation; Schedule and attend all appointments to include direct communication w/ physiciansMaintain a clean, safe, and healthy environmentMaintain neat and appropriate documentation of care rendered to clientsPerform physical activities that may require climbing, lifting, walking, balancing, stooping, and handling of materialsDocuments actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.Protects organization's value by keeping patient and company information confidential.Attend mandatory in-services, as deemed necessary by the facilityComplete required annual continuing education or in-services to maintain certificationServes and protects the organization by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, in accordance with federal, state, and local standardsUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining licensure.Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Promote the highest degree of quality care and services to our clients in accordance to the DBHDD and company policies Qualifications:Must be from an accredited nursing programGA Licensed LPN/RNKnowledge of relevant nursing careFriendly and professional bedside mannerMaintains current First Aide & CPR certificationMulti-tasking skillsEffective oral, written, and reading communication skillsUnderstands legal implications of patient care(Preferred) Minimum of six (6) months experience working in assisted living, home health, independent living, hospital or long-term care environment and desire to serve and care for those with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesYou must be able to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interest, have the ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations and possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understandingFEHE Enterprises, Inc. offers a comprehensive benefits plan to eligible team members including health, dental, vision, retirement benefits, short-term disability, long-term disability, and paid time off.
