Machine Operator in Austin, TX 78753

Pay:

17.70 /hr

Schedule:

2nd Shift - Monday to Friday 3:30 pm to 1:30am

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in the production process.
  • Perform regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and standards.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize production and meet product specifications.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor issues.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions, report any significant issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate production records and log machine performance data.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
  • Assist in training new operators on machine procedures and safety protocols.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of machine operating experience required
  • MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF RESIDENCY IN THE UNITED STATES
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control.
  • Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
