Design Engineer

Sandis is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our growing team in Santa Cruz, CA. Our ideal candidate has experience with civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including stormwater drainage programs and AutoCAD. Cool Stuff you get to do:

Aid in all technical aspects of projects and assignmentsAssist with developing improvement plans including rough/finish grading, stormwater management, and utility plansConduct engineering assessmentsPrepare technical engineering reports for internal reviewCoordinate with private, public, and governmental agenciesDesign of domestic and fire water systems Assist with material estimates as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering2+ years of relevant experienceEIT Certification Preferred Familiar with AutoCADFamiliarity and understanding of rough and finish grading plansKnowledge of utility systems including sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water distribution.
