Director of UW position will work to increase clients E&S Brokerage markets. The Director/Sr Consultant will work remote and cover a national territory. There are no people management duties, but you will act as a point of reference for other underwriters in business classes, broker contacts and marketing plans. An experienced level relative to Director level best fits this position. Duties: Knowledge of Construction Casualty risk underwriting at the Primary level combined with existing broker relationships. Review of individual risks submitted by brokers for approval or declination including qualification for SIR viability. Maintain profitable broker relationships and perform training and marketing visits as needed. Continued contact and development with Facultative Reinsurers. Requirements: Undergrad Degree preferred (will consider experience as substitute). 7-10 years experience underwriting large complex E&S Brokerage accounts CPCU, ARM and other relevant designations sought.
