We are a busy restaurant and have an open position for Hosts - the most important ostion for a tavern voted best atmosphere.. You will welcome and greet our guests as they enter and direct them to their table or waiting area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role, you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift.

With the hiring of a new Executive Chef, Kat Wiggs, Drum & Quill is the hottest gastropub pub in the area. The "Drum" represents famous golf writer Bob Drum, and the "Quill" represents the pen he used to immortalize Arnold Palmer as they founded Golf's Pro Grand Slam.
Drum & Quill is a legendary historic pub in a landmark building in the heart of Old Town Pinehurst. Authentic pubs were the bedrock of a young nation because they were traditional establishments that provided travelers with the comforts of food, drink, local music, a room, and maybe feeding their horses. Locals and visitors love our authentic pub experience, and we are the undisputed leader in the "Authentic Pub Experience" and have been voted "Most Authentic Pub" 3 years in 2021, 2022, and 2023 by the local paper and two years in a row in Sandhills Magazine.
