Civil Engineer – Environmental / Infrastructure
An established and growing engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to expand their technical experience, work on diverse projects, and continue developing toward greater project responsibility.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required

Approximately 3–7 years of professional engineering experience

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, including recently licensed/entry-level P.E.s
-
Candidates actively progressing toward P.E. licensure may also be considered

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Civil Engineering

Landfill / Solid Waste Engineering

Environmental Engineering
-
Water / Wastewater
-
Stormwater / Drainage
-
Site/Civil Design
-
Geotechnical or Geological Engineering

Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to coordinate with engineers, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders
Responsibilities
-
Assist with the planning, design, and delivery of civil and environmental engineering projects
-
Prepare engineering calculations, plans, specifications, reports, and technical documentation
-
Support projects involving landfills, environmental infrastructure, water systems, drainage, grading, utilities, and civil/site improvements
-
Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
-
Assist with permitting, regulatory requirements, and construction-related activities
-
Participate in field investigations, site visits, inspections, and project documentation as needed

Manage assigned project tasks while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards
