Job description
CLS is looking for Ordinary Seaman for our clients!
- Assisting in the maintenance and repair of the vessel's equipment and machinery
- Handling cargo and mooring lines
- Standing watch and monitoring the vessel's movement
- Assisting the deck officers in navigation and maneuvering the vessel
- Ensuring that the vessel's safety equipment is properly maintained and available for use in the event of an emergency
- Performing lookout duties
- Removing rust accumulations and treating ship areas to slow the oxidation process
- Sweeping, washing, buffing and painting the deck
- Running and rigging gear, and launching and recovering the lifeboats and life rafts
Required Certifications:
- MMC with Med Cert
- TWIC
- THUET, FOET, or BOSIET - Water Survival Course
- RigPass or SafeGulf
- Rigging
