Build a Career, Not Just a Schedule

Do you have a passion for helping people achieve meaningful health and movement goals?

Do you want to work with a supportive team that values your clinical skills, ideas, and contributions?

Are you looking for extensive training, strong mentorship, and opportunities to advance?

The Summit is growing, and we are looking for positive, motivated PTAs who want to grow with us.

You bring a great attitude, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to learning. We provide the training, mentorship, technology, and opportunities to help you succeed.

PTAs Are an Essential Part of Our Team

At The Summit, Physical Therapist Assistants are not viewed as secondary members of the clinical team. Our PTAs are highly valued professionals who play an essential role in each patient’s healing process.

PTAs spend meaningful time with patients, build trusted relationships, guide treatment progression, recognize important changes, and help patients remain confident and motivated throughout their recovery.

We value the clinical judgment, communication, consistency, and perspective our PTAs bring to the care team. You will work collaboratively with our physical therapists and other team members, and your observations and ideas will be respected.

We want our PTAs to feel appreciated, supported, challenged, and proud of the care they provide.

Who Thrives at The Summit?

This position is a great fit for someone who is:

  • Warm, friendly, and welcoming
  • Passionate about helping people
  • Comfortable communicating in both English and Spanish
  • Energized by teamwork
  • Committed to clinical excellence
  • Open to feedback and continued learning
  • Interested in long-term professional growth

Much of your day will involve working directly with patients who are beginning a new health journey. You will guide, encourage, and progress patients toward their goals while collaborating closely with our physical therapists and support team.

The Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at The Summit, you will provide skilled treatment for patients with orthopedic, movement, and balance-related conditions under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.

Your responsibilities will include implementing individualized plans of care, progressing exercises and functional activities, educating patients, communicating changes in patient status, and helping patients move confidently toward their goals.

You will also have opportunities to contribute to patient education, clinical programs, team development, and the training of future clinicians.

Clinical Training

The Summit is committed to developing highly skilled and confident clinicians.

Team members participate in weekly continuing education, with dedicated training focused on mastering current Clinical Practice Guidelines, evidence-based treatment techniques, and clinical decision-making.

Our extensive training program includes:

  • Weekly continuing education
  • In-depth review of orthopedic Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Hands-on clinical training
  • Evidence-based treatment progression
  • One-on-one mentorship
  • Specialized clinical breakout sessions
  • Patient communication and hospitality training
  • Leadership and teaching development

Our AI-supported documentation system helps streamline clinical notes, reduce administrative burden, and allow clinicians to spend more time focused on their patients.

Our goal is not simply to help you perform your job. We want to help you become an outstanding clinician, educator, and future leader.

Opportunities for Advancement

As The Summit continues to grow, so do the opportunities for our team members.

Advancement opportunities may include:

  • Site leadership
  • Clinical education and leadership
  • Clinical instructor roles
  • Leadership Team membership
  • Program development
  • Operational and organizational leadership

We are looking for someone who wants more than a job. We want a teammate who is interested in building a meaningful career and helping shape the future of The Summit.

Work-Life Balance

We believe outstanding patient care begins with a healthy and supported team.
Our flexible schedule allows team members to leave early on Fridays, creating more time for family, friends, rest, and life outside of work.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual compensation: $65,000–$80,000+

Benefits include:

  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Health Savings Account
  • Retirement plan
  • Life insurance
  • Weekly continuing education
  • Extensive clinical mentorship
  • Student loan repayment assistance, when eligible
  • Performance incentive opportunities
  • Leadership and advancement opportunities
