Job description

Position:

  • IV Technician Status: Part-Time, Full-Time Location: Gilbert, AZ Role Overview: As an IV Technician, you will play a vital role in administering intravenous vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly to our clients, helping them optimize their health and wellness.
  • This role requires precise venous access skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.

  • IV Administration: Start and monitor IV therapy, ensuring safe and effective fluid administration.

Client Monitoring:

  • Assess client’s physical health, including vital signs, and monitor their response to treatment.

Infection Management:

  • Prevent and manage infections associated with IV therapy.

Assessment:

  • Conduct physical assessments, including evaluating mental status, and identify any contraindications to IV therapy.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, therapy services, assessments, and treatment responses.

Client Communication:

  • Effectively communicate with clients about their therapy, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable throughout their treatment.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification: Paramedic Required Knowledge: Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical practice functions.
  • Expertise in venous access with the ability to access peripheral veins.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in vascular access or IV infusion, with strong venous access skills.

Skills:
