Who we are
The college has a collegial and distinguished faculty and staff who offer a variety of undergraduate programs to a diverse student body. Through effective teaching, active scholarship, and service, the college supports Fayetteville State University to promote the educational, cultural, social, and economic wellbeing of citizens throughout North Carolina, the nation, and the world.

The College of Health, Science, and Technology includes the Departments of:
  • Biological and Forensic Sciences
  • Chemistry, Physics, and Materials Science
  • Mathematics and Computer Science
  • School of Nursing.
Primary Purpose of the Position: These postings are continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. If your academic area of interest/expertise meets the programmatic needs of FSU at any time, you will be contacted to discuss proposed opportunities. These needs change from semester to semester.

Adjunct positions are employed for one semester of one year only on a part-time or full-time basis.

Rank is dependent upon credentials. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Ph.D. or Master’s degree with 18 credit hours in the desired teaching discipline. Experience with Online Education delivery is beneficial. All degrees must be from accredited institutions. Individual programs require specific licensure/certification.
