Job description
Water Resources Engineer | is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.Starting Salary Range: $80,000-105,000EFK Moen, LLC, is a civil engineering design consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with additional office locations in St. Charles, Missouri, Chicago and Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia. We are currently seeking a water resources design engineer for a full-time position in our St. Louis, Missouri office or one of our other office locations. Our company offers a locally competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package.Job Description:The water resources engineer will perform civil engineering design services in a team-oriented environment. Project emphasis is engineering design for both public and private sectors which range in scope from small to multimillion-dollar designs. Services are provided to a wide range of clients that include state DOTs, sewer districts and other governmental agencies - municipal, county and state.Duties & Responsibilities:The following duties are typical for this position: Daily production of civil engineering design plansWork as part of a team to deliver quality design that adheres to the project budget and scheduleResponsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project executionPerforms other job duties as assignedKnowledge/Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university requiredHands-on plan preparation experience for public agency projectsEIT Certification, PE License preferredProficiency in Microstation and/or AutoCAD/Civil3DWorking knowledge of drainage, hydrology, hydraulics and water resource standardsStrong verbal, written, and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other general office softwarePhysical Qualifications:Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of timeAbility to type and/or use a computer for extended periods of timeSufficient visual ability to focus attention on extended use of electronic documents and softwareEFK Moen, LLC offers its full-time employees:Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Company HolidaysPaid Parental LeaveHealth, Dental and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company ContributionCompany sponsored Short and Long-Term disability coverageCompany sponsored life insurance coverageBonus opportunitiesSupport of professional organization membership and activitiesWork-life balance through a flexible, casual work environmentA culture of mentoring and teamworkEFK Moen is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
