Apple Rehab West Haven is a 90 bed facility at 308 Savin Ave. in West Haven. Apple Rehab West Haven has a large community following where we have many returning residents who appreciate the care they are given and the family atmosphere they experience here with our long standing staff of many years. We see ourselves as a team for the good of our residents. We have a talented Therapy department which also draws resident from our community. Join us and be part of our team.

Job Description:
Dietary Aide
The Dietary Aide assists in preparation of meals and snacks as well as clean up of dining areas. Assists with receiving, rotating and storing of supplies and food. The Dietary Aide has daily interactions with the residents of our community. Helps to clean work areas, wash dishes, pans and utensils.
The Dietary Aide complies with infection control, safety and sanitation functions of the facility. Ensures that food storage and work areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner, and that equipment and supplies are properly maintained. The Dietary Aide handles food in accordance with sanitary regulations, and reports immediately all violations of safety or sanitation rules to supervisor.
