Job descriptionRole and Responsibilities This position is responsible for the effective utilization of materials, equipment, and systems in the assembly of moderately complex to very complex products and/or electrical wiring. Performs electrical wiring assembly on medium to large sized parts or panels. Performs final assembly of wiring and panels to Switchboard unit. Read and understand moderately complex to very complex wiring diagrams, bill of materials, kit sheets, front elevation and one line. Reports issues through entering Andon’s in LDS (Lean Digitization System). Enter wiring terminations through OPS app. Assembles very small to large parts and performs wiring assembly. Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment. When discrepancies occur between the bill of materials and drawings, enter Andon in LDS to Team Lead/Engineer. Performs entire wiring assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit) from start to finish. Responsible for own product quality, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care. Evaluates and performs basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, and obtains support from supervision, and engineering as needed. Establishes a safe and healthy work environment. Maintains all certifications for group(s) and completes all required training. Performs other duties as required and often in other groups. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.
