RQ Construction is looking for experienced Construction Assistant Superintendents to join our Field Operations team supporting projects in Jacksonville, Florida area.As an Assistant Superintendent, you'll work closely with the Superintendent to oversee daily field operations and keep construction activities moving forward. You'll help coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and site activities while ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans, specifications, and contract requirements. You'll also assist with maintaining schedules, monitoring production, supporting cost control, and ensuring quality standards are metpensation & BenefitsSalary: $90,000-$115,000 annually, based on experienceVehicle allowanceMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid VacationPaid Sick LeavePaid HolidaysQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; construction management, engineering, or related coursework is a plusAt least 3 years of experience as a Lead Foreman on medium to large construction projects, including scheduling, material coordination, field supervision, safety, quality, and production responsibilities3+ years of hands-on construction trade or field operations experience strongly preferredGovernment, military, or large commercial construction experience preferredDesign-Build experience is a plusPrevious experience as an Assistant Superintendent on federal construction projects preferredExperience working in secure or controlled-access facilities, including military or government sites, is desirableProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications required; training available as neededFamiliarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit is a plusCPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM 385, and STS credentials required; training may be providedLEED Green Associate certification is a plusSince 1996, RQ Construction has grown into a nationwide Design-Build contractor with projects throughout the United States and Caribbean.
