Job description
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant for an 84-day assignment in Illinois, starting Nov 17, 2023. This role involves 7 on, 7 off night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, working collaboratively with a physician hospitalist. Responsibilities include managing an average of 10-12 acute patients daily, performing hospital rounding, and conducting medical clearance and medication reconciliation for a behavioral health unit.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate closely with a physician hospitalist
- Provide medical clearance and medication reconciliation for a behavioral health unit
- Manage an average of 10 to 12 acute patients per day
- Perform hospital rounding
- Execute night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Experience with ICU rounding is preferred
