Your Role with the Company:
Assist with the installation, routing, termination, and testing of CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cabling for commercial network infrastructure.
Install and support low-voltage cable pathways using J-hooks, bridle rings, cable tray, and conduit while maintaining a clean and organized installation.
Support senior technicians with device mounting, workstation trim-outs, rack buildouts, and other structured cabling installation tasks.
Learn to terminate data jacks, patch panels, and network hardware while following TIA/EIA industry standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, telecommunications drawings, and system layouts to assist with cable routing and device placement.
Label, dress, and organize cabling to meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
Work closely with lead technicians and other trades to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Basic Requirement:
Comfortable using basic hand tools, following directions from experienced technicians, and working in commercial construction environments.
Reliable transportation, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn low voltage systems.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overtime, weekends, and occasional out-of-town assignments as project needs require.
Must have a Valid Driver s License.
