Child and Family Focus Outpatient Internship Are you interested in working with children and families, providing 1:

Internship Overview:

  • Child and Family Focus is looking for interns for our Outpatient Program for 2026/2027! CFF is a non-profit mental health agency serving children and youth primarily in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania.
  • We provide and advocate for family and community-based settings that allow for the family and child(ren) to have a voice for children’s optimum growth and positive change. W e will partner with your university in order to provide credit hours for any internship or practicum requirements.
  • We do not have virtual/remote internships.
  • Internships at Child and Family Focus are unpaid.
  • This internship is responsible for providing clinical care in an Outpatient setting.
  • She/he/they will utilize assessment tools to identify areas for interventions and partner with program staff and family members to support individuals in a manner that is conducive to all aspects of wellness.

This position requires in-office work in our Hatboro office, with the potential to meet with clients via telehealth. Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's level program at an accredited university seeking practicum, internship, or field placement in a Human Services field Major in Human Services, Public Health, Psychology, Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling or a related field. Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Comfortable using Zoom, Teams and other virtual tools Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check, Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services What We Provide: Clinical experience in the mental health/behavioral health field Participation in team meetings and staff trainings Possible individual and group supervision Mentorship and training with experienced, knowledgeable professionals in the mental health field A supportive family work environment Internship Information: Services are a mixture of in-person and remote via online platforms such as Zoom and Teams Varied, flexible schedule for students based on your availability and number of hours needed for your program.
