Accounting- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

As the AP/AR accountant, you will be responsible for a host of challenging and intricate tasks in coordination with our finance and accounting team (CFO, controller, director of FP&A, financial analyst, AP, AR, etc.). To succeed in this role you will need a balance or accounting knowledge and customer service. This role interacts with our communities across the country to ensure proper protocol is followed and all questions are answered appropriately.
Some duties or responsibilities may include:
- Respond to general AP inquiries from vendors
- Assist associates with day to day AP questions (via email and phone)
- Coordinate on-demand check requests and their required approvals/special handling
- Work through large vendor statements and follow up with field/vendors on past dues
- Administration of deposits (coding, entering into CRM, audition, journal entries, etc.)
- Vitals (our CRM) management and support
- Various other reporting (payments without deposits, rent roll, move-outs, etc.)
- Bonus payments for certain associates
Requirements
Work Experience or Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate accounting, process improvement, reporting and/or developing standards
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
