  • PLEASE TAKE SOME TIME TO READ WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Our family is seeking a dependable, patient, and reliable caregiver to assist with caring for an elderly male with dementia in the home. He is a very calm, easygoing person overall and does best with caregivers who are patient, kind, and consistent. We are looking for someone who is professional, on time, communicates well, and is honest about their availability and ability to commit to the position. Dependability is extremely important to us because consistency in care and routine matters. He is a total assist and is unable to walk independently. Assistance is needed with transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility, and sometimes eating depending on the day. The home is already equipped with a lift, wheelchair, commode, and additional equipment to help make caregiving safer and easier. He enjoys simple activities like playing with blocks and Connect 4 and benefits from a calm and supportive environment. Duties Include : -Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting -Full assistance with transfers and mobility -Meal assistance and occasional feeding support (mostly eats on his own) -Companionship and supervision Light housekeeping to assist within the home -Providing a calm, patient, and respectful environment We are looking For Someone Who Is : -Dependable and punctual -Experienced with elderly care, dementia care, or total-assist clients -Patient and compassionate -Comfortable with personal care assistance and transfers -Professional and respectful -Reliable with communication and attendance Scheduling : -Currently looking for daytime, evening, and weekend availability. If you are unable to work weekends or prefer not to, please be upfront ahead of time so scheduling can be discussed appropriately.
