Title: Materials Handler I
Location: Pomona, CA
Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm | Pay: 20.26/hr

Summary:

Seeking a Material Handler with experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory management, and material movement using equipment such as pallet jacks. Must have good computer skills and hands-on experience with ERP or similar systems, along with cycle counting, inventory records, and restocking experience. NO heavy lifting. Long term position.

Responsibilities:

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials (crates, boxes and raw materials) within or near plant, yard or work site.
• Reads and follows work orders and/or oral instructions; uses hand tools to open containers.
• Transports materials using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow or other devices.
• Maintains manufacturing inventory, keeps accurate records of manufacturing inventory data, performs re-stocking, inventory acceptance sampling.
• Performs cycle count and ensures that inventory is clearly labeled.
• Verifies and maintains material inventory and sample request forms.

Qualifications:

• Previous Material Handling Experience needed.
• Must have good computer skills and experience with ERP or similar systems.
• Must have some previous type of material handler, shipping receiving, Inventory/ warehouse experience- Usage of pallet jack, shipping procedures, etc.
• MUST have good attendance and willing to learn.

Education and experience you'll bring:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work on multiple tasks as a team member and/or ability to operate as an individual contributor.
