A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A BOILER TECHNICIAN:Embrace the thrill of diagnosing residential hydronic boiler malfunctions and system design issues with precision. You'll be a crucial player in our client-centered mission, addressing not just hot water boilers, but also forced-air furnaces, air conditioning systems, ductless mini-splits, and more. Your technical prowess will shine as you employ combustion analysis and apply your in-depth understanding of mechanical codes to create seamless solutions. Engaging with clients, you'll be the trusted educator, providing insights into value-added solutions and elevating their HVAC experience. WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A BOILER TECHNICIAN:Excellent working knowledge of hot water boilers, associated piping systems, burners, controls, combustion, and electrical circuitsExperience performing and utilizing combustion analysisExpert understanding of mechanical codes pertaining to boilers and boiler system wiringExperience with forced-air HVAC equipment such as furnaces and air conditionersEPA certificationValid driver's license and clean driving record NATE certification is preferred but not mandatory.
