General Labor 1st Shift 7:15am to 5pmDuties and responsibilities include:Assemble unfolded boxes to drop down the box chutes to the Packout areas below.Obtain empty pallets and boxes to be moved to line with hand jackIdentify and communicate problems with product packaging ensuring highest quality bags and casesVerify product code and bag counts if applicableEnsure proper documentation and pallet tags are completedMaintain area cleanliness to ensure compliance with GMP and safety standardsObtain work schedule and supplies from Supervisor required to perform daily tasksObserve flow of materials and listen for machine malfunctions, such as jamming or spillageObserve, feel, or otherwise examine products during and after processing to ensure conformance to standards.Ensure product matches box labelVerify product count and box quantityInspect bags to make sure it's free from damagesEssential Job Functions and Requirements:Working in a very cold and wet environment (33 - 35 degrees Fahrenheit)Long periods of standing on hard wet surface areaPushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.Bending, stooping, reaching overhead, stretching, climbing stairsRepetitious movements of hand, arms, and legsMust be able to use or learn to use equipment and tools provided to perform job duties.Other Requirements:Must be able to countMust be detail orientedMust be able to perform all job functions safely.Must participate in company orientation and training.Must be able to follow instructions.Must be able to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime if needed.Other Information:The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed, as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
