Join Our Team: Warehouse Associate Needed in RIOur distribution team in Rhode Island is actively seeking a Warehouse Associate to join us immediately. If you're skilled with a forklift, that's a significant advantage!Position Overview: We offer a swift start within 7 days for a dedicated individual eager to contribute to our warehouse operations. Your role will involve handling products-receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading-as well as executing various warehouse tasks. Proficiency with computers is essential.Key Responsibilities:Greet and assist delivery trucksTrack and process shipments efficientlyLabel and tag merchandise accuratelyPackage goods following our established protocolsManage and prepare orders for dispatchMaintain records of damaged or defective merchandiseUtilize inventory and logistics software for data entryEnsure accurate processing, packaging, and shipping of ordersKeep inventory organized and up-to-dateConduct quality checks on products and shipmentsOptimize warehouse space utilizationHandle incoming stock and replenish inventoryFulfill and verify customer orders meticulouslyComply with all safety and health regulationsMaintain a clean and orderly warehouse environmentCarry out additional warehouse tasks as neededRequirements:Computer literacy is a mustValid driver's licenseSolid background in warehouse operationsProficiency in operating warehouse machinery (forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.)Familiarity with warehouse management systemsCollaborative spirit and strong organizational skillsPhysical ability to handle items weighing up to 50 lbsEffective communication and problem-solving abilitiesWhy You Should Apply: This role offers the opportunity to acquire new competencies, collaborate with a dynamic team, and advance your career.
