The Company will accept applications on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. This role requires 50% of travel and 50% hybrid or remote work. Position Overview The Technical Lead serves as the technical authority for E-House testing, quality assurance, quality control, and technical governance activities.
This individual contributor role is responsible for ensuring E-House solutions are designed, manufactured, inspected, tested, and delivered in accordance with customer requirements, Schneider Electric standards, and applicable industry codes and standards. What will you do? * Serve as the technical subject matter expert for E-House solutions throughout design, manufacturing, testing, and project execution phases. * Lead technical reviews, verification, and validation of E-House systems to ensure compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and applicable codes. * Perform and oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), quality inspections, and technical audits for medium and large E-House projects. * Review engineering drawings, electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, and technical documentation for quality and compliance. * Support quality assurance and quality control activities by reviewing engineering deliverables, manufacturing documentation, test procedures, and inspection plans. * Develop, maintain, and improve testing standards, acceptance criteria, quality processes, and commissioning procedures. * Identify technical risks, design deficiencies, manufacturing concerns, and quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions. * Support troubleshooting and root cause investigations for technical and quality-related issues. * Collaborate with engineering, project management, manufacturing, commissioning, field services, and quality teams to resolve technical challenges. * Participate in customer technical reviews, factory visits, inspections, and acceptance testing activities. * Support project execution teams by providing technical expertise related to E-House solutions. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, testing efficiency, manufacturing excellence, and customer satisfaction. * Capture and share lessons learned to improve future project execution and product quality. Who will you report to? * Technical Team Leader What qualifications will make you successful in this role? Education * Associate degree or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as electrical technology, power systems, or a related discipline. Experience * 5+ years of experience in power systems, electrical testing, commissioning, manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, or a related technical field. * Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, startup, or quality inspection activities. * Experience working with medium-voltage and low-voltage electrical equipment in industrial, utility, energy, data center, or infrastructure environments. * Experience reviewing technical documentation, electrical drawings, test procedures, and inspection plans. * Experience supporting root cause investigations and corrective action implementation. Technical Knowledge Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: * Medium-voltage switchgear * Low-voltage switchgear and switchboards * Motor control centers (MCCs) * Protection and control systems * Power monitoring systems * Electrical distribution systems * E-House integration and testing * Industrial control systems * Electrical commissioning and startup activities Skills & Competencies * Ability to interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. * Knowledge of electrical testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques. * Familiarity with applicable industry standards, including NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, UL * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Strong organizational and technical documentation skills. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, field services, and project management teams. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with prefabricated or modular E-House solutions. * Experience in switchgear manufacturing, testing, commissioning, or quality assurance environments. * Experience supporting large industrial, utility, renewable energy, data center, or infrastructure projects. * Familiarity with Schneider Electric power distribution products and systems. * Certification or training in testing, commissioning, quality systems, or electrical safety is an asset.
