Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive profit and loss analysis, financial modeling, and business performance reviews.
  • Manage accounts payable, payroll functions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Administer cash flow and treasury management, including monitoring of banking activities and relationships.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including board members and external auditors.
  • Oversee asset management, governmental and grant accounting, and foundation reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • CPA certification mandatory.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably within a healthcare or nonprofit environment.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
