Job description
State Farm Agent in the Chicago 60618 (North Center) neighborhood seeks a local to our office PART-TIME in-office assistant.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As a PART-TIME AGENT STAFF for Jim Tom State Farm Insurance Agency in Chicago, IL 60618 (North Center), your creativity and strategy promote the continued growth of our agency. Your diversified marketing shapes our brand’s public image and cultivates existing customer relations. Your cross-functional campaigns will expand the value generated by producers, innovate our customers’ experience, and strategically position our agency… whether on social media or at community events!

While promoting our team, our insurance products/financial services, and the good we offer to our community, you also gain unique insights invaluable to your career growth. As an inventive and sales-minded professional, we are eager to incorporate your skillset into our agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to promote State Farm insurance products and services.
  • Identify and qualify leads for agents by gathering relevant customer information.
  • Stay informed about the various insurance products and services offered by State Farm.
  • Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns or referrals to schedule appointments for agent's licensed team members.
  • Provide initial information to potential customers and answer basic questions about insurance options.
  • Maintain and update a database of prospects and customer interactions.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to State Farm guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and appointment scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous marketing, sales or customer retention experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Communication and persuasion skills, with a professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software
  • Basic understanding of insurance products or a willingness to learn.
  • Enthusiastic, Highly motivated, Positive attitude, Coachable, who's able to receive Feedback
  • Organizational skills
  • Strong work ethics
  • Fast Learner
  • Candidate must be available during our MON-FRI 9am-5pm office hours (DAY/HOURS TBD)
  • Insurance Licensed or able to acquire insurance licenses asap if not licensed
