The Alaska Club, a network of 14 premier health and fitness clubs, is seeking a Call Center Specialist. Our Call Center is the hub of communication at our club. The Call Center Specialist provides excellent customer service in an inbound environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, energetic, dependable and an efficient team player with 1-3 years of Customer Service experience.Call center associate duties may include:Interact with customers to provide information for entire shiftMaintain productivity standardsHigh level of professional customer serviceAccurately process transactions regarding products and servicesAccurately record all customer contactsMove fluently through computer system to track, gather information, and/or troubleshoot customer issuesRefer unresolved customer issues to designated department or supervisor for resolution Required Skills and Experience:Strong computer and typing skills1-3 years of customer service experienceExperience working with Microsoft OfficeCompletion of High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to handle heavy inbound callsStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyProven ability to meet/exceed performance standardsExcellent typing and data entry skillsNavigating through multiple databases and using duel computer screensProviding excellent customer service to a large member baseAnswering a wide variety of member and nonmember questions and finding solutions to problemsProfessional verbal and written communication skills Preferred Experience:1-3 years of call center experienceAdvanced experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
