What You’ll Do

• Provide OB/GYN care supporting a team of 5 OB providers and Midwives
• Conduct deliveries at Good Samaritan Hospital, performing approximately 1,500 deliveries annually
• Manage a patient load of about 14 patients per day, age range mostly teenagers and adults
• Perform onsite ultrasounds and other routine procedures
• Cover one 24-hour hospital call shift every week, with a comfortable sleep room onsite available during the shift
• Collaborate with support staff and multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Document patient encounters using EMR eClinicalWorks

What You Need

• Active NY Medical License
• Board Certification in OB/GYN (or eligible within 60-90 days for credentialing)
• DEA license (willing to license if necessary)
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in OB/GYN practice
• Strong clinical skills, ability to manage deliveries and gynecological care efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment
This position is based at a community health center with a busy obstetric service, supporting approximately 1,500 deliveries per year. The facility offers onsite ultrasound, a sleep room, and a supportive environment for providers. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering compassionate patient care in a fast-paced setting.
