Job description
  • Intermodal truck driver* *Home time : * Daily *Experience : * 3 months or greater CDL experience Overview * Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. * 99% no-touch freight that is 85% drop-and-hook. * Drive in and out of railyards within 200 miles of ramp location. Pay and bonus potential * Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving. * Wage Scale : Hourly pay of $15 for all on duty, not driving hours (Line 4 time), Shipment pay of $10 per shipment, and Mileage pay between $0.53 / mile and $0.64 / mile for each assigned mile you complete (specific Shipment Pay rate depends on experience). * Paid orientation. * Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year. * Annual bonus : Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year. Qualifications * Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). * Drivers on this account are required to drive at night. * Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred. * Live within 40 miles of Portland, OR. * Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
