Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician

City: Los Angeles, CA

Range of Pay: $24.00 to $25.00

Hours are:
•Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
•Weekend availability a must as schedules are subject to change

Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary:
We are hiring for an experienced Maintenance Technician to assist with the maintenance & repair of apartment communities. The ideal candidate will have general technical aptitude, problem solving ability and positive attitude to handle day-to-day maintenance needs of an apartment community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare apartment units for move-in, which can consist of drywall patching, painting, caulking tubs/showers, changing lighting fixtures, replacing toilet seats, and installing smoke detectors
  • Completion of day-to-day maintenance requests such as replacing GFIs, snaking tubs and toilets, repairing plumbing leaks, troubleshooting electrical issues, replacing garbage disposals, and repairing/installing other appliances

Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow directions and complete work orders
  • Knowledge of all general plumbing and electrical
  • Experience with drywall and paint
  • HVAC and HVAC/R knowledge +PLUS not required
  • Experience working with high/low voltage systems +PLUS not required
