Machine Operator

MACHINE OPERATORAutomation Personnel Services is seeking several Machine Operatorfor a food manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will cross train on various machinery within the facility to support production. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.Payrate$16.50 per hourShifts and SchedulesDay shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Afternoon Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm Customer schedule is 25-32 hours per weekMachine OperatorDuties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and set-up machinery and line daily prior to production.
• Check vacuum seal, cut off, fin seal and registration
• Metal detector checks, code date checks, documented every 15 minutes.
• Check code dates for the proper dates and reload ink film as needed
• Immediately report food safety and quality hazards to supervisors

Machine OperatorSkills and Qualifications

• Signoff and understand all GMP standards
• Lift up to 45lbs maximum (in office assessment will be conducted)
• Work in hot environments and lots or walking
• Prior production or food experience is a plus
• Background check and drug screen required
