RN Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be customer oriented and committed to customer serviceHave proper assessment skill to detect changes in resident conditionRequired to perform medication passes in accordance with state regulations for a residential care facilityOversee and direct STNAs and CNAs within the realm of their job descriptionRNs represent nursing as a team player to other departments throughout the facilityCommunicate any changes in condition of a resident to the doctor, family and Director of NursingAssist with hands on care when required or requested by other personnel or a residentWork toward maintaining each residents self-respect, personal dignity and safetyEncourage residents to exercise their resident rightsUnderstand the facility must be staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including weekends and holidaysUnderstand the you will be on call at time for the Director of NursingAll other duties as assignedRN Required license or certification:RN must have Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/universityA current, unencumbered, active Ohio RN licenseCurrent CPRExperience with PointClick Care preferred, but not requiredAt least one year experience in Elderly Care preferred.Pre-employment requirements:PhysicalBackground CheckMantoux (TB) TestBriarfield is a Drug Free Work Place
