Job Title: Material Handler - Fabrication Department

Job Responsibilities:
• Operate overhead cranes proficiently and safely
• Complete all pre-shift crane operator checklists
• Maintain thorough knowledge of parking locations throughout the Rebar Fabrication Department
• Ensure continuous supply of materials to shearing lines and bending machines for uninterrupted production
• Load delivery trucks accurately following all documentation and procedures
• Adhere to and promote all safety practices and policies
• Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient work area
• Collaborate effectively with team members across different shifts
• Participate in ongoing training and skills development programs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in material handling processes
Skills Required:
• Experience in overhead crane operation (preferred but not mandatory)
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, walk, twist, and turn
• Capability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Strong hand-eye coordination for handling and positioning materials
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Schedule:
3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM (subject to change to 10-hour shifts ending at 5:30 AM)
