Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts -
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to oversee the volunteer services of our Massachusetts hospice agencies!
Candidate must be willing to travel throughout Massachusetts. This role supports the volunteer programming for Hospice Services of Massachusetts and Hospice fo Western & Central Massachusetts. $27 to $30 an hour, with weekly pay, depending on experience. As the volunteer coordinator, you oversee the volunteer program, including recruiting, planning, and managing services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.
Experience overseeing volunteer programming required.
Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver's license as well as an insured and reliable vehicle.
Ability to manage a group of individuals.
DUTIES:
Develop and maintain volunteer recruitment, training, orientation, and supervision across our agencies.
Develop services with the patient and family, as well as the hospice team.
Provide information to individuals and community groups about hospice volunteer services.
Provide training to volunteers on customer service and duties.
Seek opportunities to expand and enhance our volunteer programming.
Maintain volunteer personnel files.
Attend interdisciplinary group meetings.
Assist in budget creation for volunteer programming and operate within determined budgets.
