WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Purchasing Team, the Warranty/RMA (Return Material Authorization) Specialist is responsible for organizing material returns to vendors and maintaining accurate, detailed records. They will review return information and make sure that it is accurate. This information may be presented to other parties within the company to help improve product quality. Additionally, the Warranty/RMA specialist will review return information to help pinpoint RMA trends occurring with specific products or vendors. The Warranty/RMA Specialist will be responsible for the logistics of moving all returned material to and from the vendor, and resolving disputes and claims that may arise with vendors and suppliers related to the returned product. Some overtime and weekend hours may be requested. Other tasks may include:
