We currently have an opening for a Freight Operations in Juneau, Alaska. What You Will Be Doing * Securing, unloading and loading freight using banding, dunnage, binders and chains. * Operate a warehouse forklift. * Working on the deck of a barge to set and pull cones, secure containers and assist operators as needed. * Involved in the process of receiving and distributing freight to and from customers at the facility. * Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card). And these qualifications: * Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-pound objects. * Ability to work around moving mechanical parts and in an environment where the noise level ranges from moderate to moderately loud. * Ability to travel for short periods of time and able to work in outside weather conditions.
