You go out in the field with refrigeration technicians to hospitals and imaging centers throughout Northern California, from Fresno to Arcata. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from responding to emergency service dispatches to performing preventative maintenance.Most of the equipment is located outside on parked mobile units, in ground-level caged areas, or on building rooftops. There are a wide variety of equipment types and manufacturers with proprietary controls, making the job interesting and challenging. From time to time, you even have opportunities to help work on specialized cooling systems for printing presses, semiconductor process equipment, mobile TV broadcasts, and research trailers.You are a hard worker who does whatever is needed to keep or get customers equipment running properly and pays close attention to what you're being taught. Ability to work with stressed out individuals due to circumstances affecting their ability to do their work. New hires will receive on-the-job training with one of our seasoned technicians. After training is complete, the morning start time is negotiable between the hours of 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM and you would be included in the on-call rotation, as we provide 24/7 emergency service.
