Billing Specialist Pacific States Petroleum, Inc. is an on-site fueling company servicing California.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing Specialist to join our dedicated team in our Concord office.

Compensation:
- $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) options, and paid vacation/time off.
- Key Responsibilities Process invoices for a specific product line, including identifying, documenting, and tracking fees for additional services and special pick-ups.
- Maintain active customer support for the AR Department, including sending out invoices and answering customer inquiries.
- Receive, research, and resolve difficult or complex billing issues, including processing invoice corrections.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of customer data within our current billing database (Sage DM2), while assisting with data transitions during our upcoming migration to NetSuite.
- File processed invoices and assist with digital file management.
- Provide phone backup, answering calls when the front office is busy.
- Cross-train in other lines of business to serve as backup support when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience & Education Three years of increasingly responsible experience in customer service and/or billing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required to perform the work.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is preferred.
- Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in a billing or accounts receivable role with a strong understanding of billing procedures.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle complex and sensitive inquiries with patience and professionalism.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with ERP/billing systems (currently using Sage DM2).
Bonus:
- Previous experience with NetSuite or navigating an ERP system migration is a major plus!
- Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively and respectfully in a team environment.
Work Schedule & Environment Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Location:
- 100% on-site in Concord, CA.
- Communicate effectively to exchange information and make presentations.
- Input information into a computer and read a variety of digital and printed materials.
- Lift and carry light materials/objects as assigned.
