Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Priogram Manager to plan, initiate, and manage projects involving the development of advanced semiconductor products. Serve as a primary program manager for MFG test program content definition of AMD products, execution, planning scheduling, inter-team coordination, status tracking and reporting. Identify and document customer requirements and establish engineering schedules. Drive product solution deliverables and alignment with customers’ platforms to ensure highest level customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle. Initiates significant changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiency. Create and maintain project management artifacts such as schedule, resource and resource forecast, risk and issues logs. Identify action or mitigation plans for issues or risks that arise during the project lifecycle. Collect, analyze, organize and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports. Guide systems engineering and silicon design teams through the various phases of bring-up, product definition, and product validation and production ramp while assisting in debugging hardware issues in the post-silicon phase. Drive schedules, resources, status, and cross-functional alignment of engineering tasks. Determine project equipment needs. Prepare engineering specification for production of products and/or systems. Evaluate project work to ensure effectiveness, technical adequacy, or compatibility in the resolution of complex electronics engineering problems. Utilize knowledge of material science and computers and electronics, including computer hardware and software, applications, and programming, as well as knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Apply knowledge of engineering principles, material science, and technologies to the design, development, and testing of various AMD products.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience as a technical product/program manager, technical lead, or in a closely related engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires Three (3) years of experience in the following:

  • Performing hardware and software validation and verification;
  • Product development cycles;
  • Leading software, hardware, and/or firmware program execution from new product introduction (NPI) through production;
  • Leading validation programs or projects from development through launch;
  • Defining test plans;
  • Tracking and communicating program and project status; and
  • Agile methodology, Confluence, PowerBI, and JIRA.
