MRI Technologist – Gainesville, FL. This position involves performing diagnostic MRI procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting, supporting critically ill patients with Siemens MRI equipment. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure all MRI exams are completed efficiently and accurately.

Job Details

• Position Description: Replacement MRI Tech position at UF Health Shands Hospital for a 13-week assignment.
• Shift Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours, from 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour workweek.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of hospital setting experience with critically ill patients, Siemens MRI experience including XA and B platforms (e.g., Avanto, Verio, Prisma, Aera, Sola).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in multiple MRI locations on campus.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic MRI procedures, work collaboratively to complete all ordered exams, and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours, 40 hours per week.
• Submission Requirements: Facility type, electronic medical record (EMR) system, bed count, and at least one reference dated within the last 12 months.
• Compliance & Notes: FL AHCA processing may take up to 14 business days. No permeable shoes allowed. No RTO during the first 2 weeks; maximum of 8 days RTO for the 13-week contract.
• Vaccination Policy: Medical exemptions for seasonal influenza are permitted with appropriate documentation; exteriors require exemption forms or completion of a mandatory module.
