As a DSP Mentor , you'll play an important leadership role within your home—providing direct support to residents while helping train, mentor, and guide new DSP team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct support, supervision, and protective oversight to individuals served Promote independence and help individuals accomplish their personal goals Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring safety, dignity, and respect Onboard, train, coach, and mentor new Direct Support Professionals assigned to your home Serve as a positive role model and resource for DSP team members Collaborate with the Team Lead or Assistant Manager regarding staffing, attendance, and performance concerns Act as a liaison between families, administration, staff, and individuals served to promote consistent, quality care Maintain strong communication and teamwork within the home Help foster a positive, professional team culture focused on person-centered care Promote consistency in daily routines, expectations, and quality of services What You'll Need Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience and direct care experience working with individuals with disabilities or adults age 65 and older Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance in the state of employment Ability to understand and complete required documentation Medication Management Administration Certificate within 90 days of hire Active Mandatory Reporter Certification preferred Dependable, compassionate, patient, and able to serve as a positive role model for others Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Benefits Eligible employees enjoy access to: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan with discretionary employer match Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Accident and Critical Illness Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Join a Team That Makes a Difference At Crest Services , our people are at the heart of everything we do.
